Rep. Kyle J Tasker for Criminal Justice and Public Safety: The committee feels current statute is sufficient and if a loophole exists, that needs to be addressed. Further study will be needed to accurately address the situation. Unintended consequences are a potential problem if the language is not properly crafted Vote 17-0.
